Cruise ship operator Carnival PLC’s ADR fell 3.7% on the day, due to weakness in the stocks of other travel-related companies, due to concerns about coronavirus restrictions in Europe and concerns about the spread of Delta variants. At the same time, Carnival said on Monday that it may sell up to $500 million in stock. The China-based solar module manufacturer said on Monday that it had submitted an application for a potential public sale on the Shanghai Stock Exchange to its main operating department.
